Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Yello is a platform that connects passengers ("Users") with drivers ("Captains") for safe, fast, and affordable transport. We facilitate the booking of rides, delivery services, and other related services through our mobile applications and website.

2. User Registration

To access certain features of our services, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Use of Services

Yello offers various ride options, including:

  • 1. Economy (Non-AC)
  • 2. Comfort (Standard-AC)
  • 3. Moto (Motorbike)
  • 4. Rickshaw
  • 5. Parcel Delivery

Note: Rates are subject to change and may vary by city.

4. User Responsibilities

As a User, you agree to:

  • a. Provide accurate and complete information when booking rides or services.
  • b. Use the services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws.
  • c. Refrain from engaging in any conduct that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the platform.
  • d. Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.
  • e. While intending to deliver a parcel, the user must ensure to gather necessary information such as, rider's mobile number, picture of the rider and the parcel. Yello does not take any responsibility in case of a fraud ot non-delivery of parcels. Comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.

5. Captain Responsibilities

Captains are independent contractors who provide transportation services through the Yello platform. Captains agree to:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and necessary permits.
  • Ensure their vehicle is in good working condition and complies with all safety standards.
  • Provide services in a professional and courteous manner.

6. Pricing and Payments

All fares are calculated based on base price, per kilometer rate, per minute rate, and waiting charges. Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments for services are processed through the Yello platform using supported payment methods. Users agree to pay all charges incurred for services rendered.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

Users may cancel a ride within a specified time frame without incurring a cancellation fee. Refunds are subject to the discretion of Yello and may be provided in cases of service failure or other exceptional circumstances.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Yello collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described therein.

9. Account Deletion

At Yello.bid, we respect your privacy and are committed to giving you control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our services and would like your account and associated data permanently deleted, please follow the procedure outlined below.

Terms for Data Deletion

  • Eligibility: You must be the verified account holder to request deletion of your data.
  • Scope of Deletion: All personal data (e.g., name, email, contact info) Account credentials Transaction history (as permitted by law) Listings, messages, and saved items Note: Some records may be retained temporarily to comply with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, tax, or financial regulations).
  • Irreversibility: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is legally required. Third-Party Services: If you’ve used third-party login (e.g., Google, Facebook), we may need to confirm your identity using that method.
  • 🛠️ How to Request Data Deletion
    • Option 1: In-App Request: Open the Yello app

      Go to Settings > Account > Delete My Account Follow the prompts to confirm your request,

 

    • Option 2: Email Request Send an email to: support@yello.bid.  Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request Include: Your full name The email address associated with your Yello.bid account A brief statement confirming your identity and request for deletion

 

  • 🕒 Processing Time Your request will be acknowledged within 7 days Full deletion will be completed within 30 days, subject to verification and legal compliance


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yello shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.

12. Termination

Yello reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms & Conditions or is harmful to other users or the business.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.


14. Dispute Resolution

Yello is not a TAXI providing company, it does not OWN any of the vehicles. It shall not form a party to any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions & shall be resolved through amicable negotiations among the effected parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.


15. Amendments

Yello reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
